UNCORKING A BOTTLE OF SOMETHING EXQUISITE
FRESH FROM THE JEROBOAM
It's that beloved time of the year again; flowers are blooming, the melody of birds in the air, and all we yearn for after a busy day is to unwind on a stunning London terrace.
Join us on our terrace every Thursday starting April 25th, where we'll be uncorking a bottle of something exquisite, fresh from the Jeroboam.
WHAT IS A JEROBOAM?
A Jeroboam of Champagne or Jero as it is sometimes referred is a double Magnum.
It is 3-litre size, which is therefore 4 times the standard Champagne bottle size.
Champagne stored in Jeroboam bottles tends to age more slowly compared to standard-sized bottles due to the smaller ratio of oxygen to wine. This can result in more complex and developed flavours over time.
Jeroboam bottles are often associated with grand celebrations and special occasions due to their size and rarity - and we believe that every visit to Bentley's is an occasion waiting to be celebrated. So, join us at the next Jero Thursday, and don't forget to tag us in your photos #jerothursday
